Description:Founded in 1899, MHC has over a century of experience working with children, youth, and families across North Carolina. We serve all children and families regardless of their religion, race, ethnic background, or economic status. Our services include family-based counseling, community-based residential youth homes, consultation and training services, substance abuse services, foster care, therapeutic foster care, and adoption. We use a values-based model of care that promotes honesty, respect, responsibility, empowerment, compassion, and spirituality.
