Description:NCPSAC is a state chapter of the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children. APSAC has been providing services for child abuse professionals for over 17 years by developing practice standards and providing quality professional development. NCPSAC board members are available for consultation and local training. Recognition of abuse is a topic trainers would cover but that could also be provided by the NC Prevent Child Abuse organization with more advanced training for medical and investigative and treatment professionals available through NCPSAC.
