| Description: | United Family Services’ Tree House Children's Advocacy Center is the only organization in Union County that provides a collaborative effort of community partners involved in child sexual and physical abuse cases. It is built on the premise that no single child abuse professional or agency can solve the problem of child abuse alone. The Tree House Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is a program of United Family Services, a non-profit organization that has been serving children and families since 1909. Our services (in English and Spanish) include child forensic interviews, child medical evaluations, counseling, play therapy, support groups, advocacy, court accompaniment, court education, as well as child abuse prevention and rape prevention programs. We also provide parenting classes (in English and Spanish), as well as professional classes on "Recognizing and Responding to Child Abuse & Neglect" and "Keeping Children Safe." |

We are members of the Children's Advocacy Centers of North Carolina, Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina, and the North Carolina Coalition Against Sexual Assault. We also chair the Violence Prevention Taskforce in Union County. United Family Services is a United Way agency. |
