| Description: | The NC Public Health Academy (“the Academy”) is a one-stop website for learning opportunities, resources and tools for those thinking about a career in public health or those public health professionals interested in maintaining and improving their skills or advancing their careers. The website includes a set of customized resources for Public Health Social Workers and Public Health Nurses, as well as other public health professions. Each resource set includes skill self assessments, customized searchable training and learning resource databases and networking links.
The Academy is not a formal educational program, but rather helps public health practitioners understand where they are professionally and what they need to do to remain current or advance in either their chosen discipline or another discipline in public health.
